Wireless manual pulse generator (MPG) for Fagor8055 · 8060 · 8065
Lands on the handwheel connector with the same 5 V differential A/B signal a wired Fagor handwheel produces. No parameter edits, no PLC changes: the control cannot tell the difference.
One connector: the retrofit lands on the X5 handwheel input, wired to match your control before it ships. The pendant runs to its receiver over a 433 MHz link out to 50 m — downstream of X5, the PLC, parameters and the rest of the machine's wiring stay exactly as the builder left them.

What the Fagor port expects
Same figures for Basic and Advanced: the difference between the two models is the safety hardware, not the signal. If the machine already has a wired handwheel plugged into X5, the wireless receiver goes on those same fifteen pins. X5 accepts differential or non-differential handwheel signals — tell us which your control expects, and we wire to match, guaranteed, before it ships.
Axis and rate coding on Fagor ports is matched to your control before it ships. The X5 handwheel connector itself is well documented in the full pinout. The receiver's own terminal legend (E-stop, enable, extension keys) is in the wiring diagrams download.

Two models, both wired for your Fagor port
Basic is the right unit for jogging from outside the guarding. If operators work inside the envelope with guards open, the safety hardware on Advanced is not optional.
Both models wire into the same X5 connector, so the choice between them is about the job, not the port. On a Fagor lathe or mill running long batches, the handwheel comes out a few times a week and a 3–5 m wired pendant already covers the whole working area, so there's not much of a case to make there. The case gets stronger on job work: repeated edge finding, tool touch-off and first-off checks with the operator at the workpiece rather than the panel, where a 50 m link means the walk back to the control disappears. That does mean someone has to own changing two AA cells roughly every two months; if nobody will, the wired pendant is still the more dependable choice for that machine.
Basic MPG
Handwheel, 5-axis selector, ×1/×10/×100 magnification. The direct wired-pendant replacement for jogging, edge finding and tool setting.

View Advanced MPGWireless MPG for Fagor: questions
Does it work with my Fagor control?
Yes if it is an 8055, 8060 or 8065 with a handwheel connector. Not listed? Send the control model on the quote form and we will confirm before shipping.
Does a wireless MPG need Fagor parameter changes?
No. The receiver presents the same A/B quadrature, axis and rate signals as a wired MPG. It lands on the existing MPG port with a matched pinout.
How long does the battery last, and what do I need to keep on hand?
About two months of typical single-shift use on two AA alkaline cells, with 30 days as the guaranteed minimum. They're standard cells from any shop; there's no proprietary pack to order from us when a set runs flat.
Can I run wireless MPGs on more than one Fagor machine in the same shop?
Yes. The 433 MHz link supports up to 32 units on the same floor, each paired to its own receiver, so several machines can run wireless pendants at once without interfering with each other.
